On 2 December 2021, the National Director of Border Zones and International Boundaries, Ambassador Ximena Fuentes Torrijo, participated as a speaker at the online seminar “XXIX Encuentro Juristas del Derecho Internacional Público” organized by the Economic Administrative Law Program of the Law Faculty of the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile.

During the session, which focused on the legacy of great public international law jurists, the Ambassador Fuenteshighlighted the professional and academic contribution of  Sir Ian Brownlie, who was her thesis supervisor at the University of Oxford, to the development of  public international law.
