Between the 12 and 16 of July 2021, the Mixed Boundary Commission replaced and improved boundary posts 10, 11, 12, and 13 of the coastal sector of the International Boundary with Perú (Chacalluta). The boundary posts that were in bad conditions were replaced, and those that were in a better state, were repaired.

The pictures depict an example of these works in boundary post 13, which was replaced for a new one. The joint work of the Chilean and Peruvian subcommissions was fluid and professional, setting a good precedent for future work of the Mixed Boundary Commission Chile-Perú, dependent of DIFROL.
