In the city of Ushuaia, between October 24 and 25, 2022, the XXVIII Meeting of the Southern Integration Committee took place, chaired by Minister Gabriel Servetto, Director of Limits and Borders of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, International Trade and Worship. of the Argentine Republic, and co-chaired by Carlos Dettleff, National Director of Borders and Limits of the State (S) of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Chile.

The opening ceremony was attended by the Deputy Governor of the Province of Tierra del Fuego, Antarctica and South Atlantic Islands, Mónica Urquiza, host of this meeting, with the Presidential Delegate of the Aysén Region, Rodrigo Araya Morales , with the Presidential Delegate of the Region of Magallanes and Chilean Antarctica, Luz Bermúdez Sandoval, and with the Governor of the Province of Santa Cruz, Dr. Alicia Kirchner.

The Ambassador of the Republic of Chile in the Argentine Republic, Lic. Bárbara Figueroa, and the Consul of the Argentine Republic in Punta Arenas, Min. Germán Domínguez, also participated in the opening ceremony.
